Pokemon Journeys (My Version)

Today, Mew and her friends, and their Pokemon are taking a relaxing break at a shady mountain stream. They relax as some of the Water Pokemon swim around. Even Togepi is playing in the water.

"How does the water feel, Togepi?" Misty asks.

"Toge Toge Togepri!" (Nice and cool!) Togepi happily says.

Poliwhirl soon drifts by.

Misty calls out, "Don't drift too far away, okay, Poliwhirl?"

Poliwhirl waves, "Poli…" (I won't...)

But suddenly, a huge Poliwrath comes up behind Poliwhirl, "Poliwrath!" (Hey, shrimp!)

"That's a tough looking Poliwrath," Misty says.

"Yeah and doesn't it seem too friendly," Brock says.

Poliwrath lifts its arm in the air, "Poliwrath, Poli!" (Have a drink, nerd!) and smacks it hard on Poliwhirls' head.

Everyone is shocked to see it

Poliwrath then punches Poliwhirl into the air, sending it crashing in front of the group.

Misty gasps, "Poliwhirl!"

"Whirl…" (Ow...) Poliwhirl replies, dazed.

Misty puffs and glares at Poliwrath as it laughs, "Poliwrath, Poliwrath, Poliwrath, wrath! (Haw, Haw! Haw, haw!)

Pichu asks Poliwhirl, "Pichu Pichu?" (Are you alright?)

"That Poliwrath's nothing but a big bully," Misty

"Yeah," Mew and the others agree.

Suddenly, they hear someone say, "Your Pokémon's a pipsqueak."

The group turns to see a boy with blue-green hair, carrying a fishing rod step in

"So that's your Poliwrath!" Misty angrily says, "Why did it attack my Poliwhirl?"

"I made a mistake. I didn't know it was a Poliwhirl, I thought it was a Poliwimp," The boy taunts.

Misty angrily says, "You take that back!"

Why should I?"The boy taunts, "After one little tap, your Poliwhirl is so scared, it's trying to hide behind you!"

"Huh?" Misty questions, and looks down to see Poliwhril hiding behind Misty.

"It looks Poli-whipped!" The boy says.

"Poliwhirl…" (I am a wimp...) Poliwhirl nervously says.

"But I guess that's what you hafta expect from a plain old Poliwhirl. If it was any good, it would've evolved already," The boy says.

"Lots of great Pokémon aren't fully evolved yet, and Misty's Poliwhirl here is a great Pokémon!" Brock says.

"You bet it is!" Mew says.

"Poli…" (He called me a wimp...) Poliwhril says.

"Maybe that's true, but look at her Psyduck...and that Staryu and Goldeen! They look like wimps, too! It's pretty obvious they could use a good trainer," The boy says in a mocking tone.

Misty blows her top, "I'll show you what kind of trainer I am! Let's battle!"

"Hey, I'd love to battle, but I've got other plans for today, Red," The boy says.

Then turns to his Pokemon, "Let's go, Poliwrath!" and recalls his Poliwrath.

"Better work on your Poliwhirl, kid," The boy says and takes his leave.

"Work on your attitude!" Misty angrily says.

"Poliwhirl…" (Why me...) Poliwhirl worriedly replies.

Mew and the others are walking along and Misty is still steamed about what happened.

"That kid had a lot of nerve insulting my Poliwhirl," Misty says, angrily.

And Brock says, "He didn't know what he was talking about."

"I agree. Poliwhirl is a great Pokemon," Mew says.

Soon, the group spots a bunch of people with fishing rods and tackle boxes.

"Hey, look! Everybody's got a rod and reel," Tomo says.

"Maybe there's a good fishing hole some place nearby," Brock says.

Mw approaches one of the fishes and asks, " Excuse me. Is there good fishing somewhere around here?"

"We're not going fishing, today's the annual Seaking Catching Competition," The fisherman says.

"A Seaking Catching Competition?" Mew questions.

Soon, everyone heads to where the competition is being held.

The announcer says, "May I please have your attention while I explain the rules of our Seaking Competition? You may use any types of rods, reels, or lures you wish. There are no restrictions. You're permitted to catch as many Seaking as you can within the allotted competition time limit. However," and brings out the competition Pokeball, "you're only allowed to enter one Seaking that must be captured in your Lake Ball!"

"Hey. It's the same as that bug catching competition," Mew says.

"Pika Pika," (It sure does.) Pikachu says.

"Eevee Eevee," (Only with Water Pokemon.) Eevee says.

The announcer continues, "At the end of the competition, we'll weigh each trainer's Seaking and whoever's caught the heaviest one wins!"

Soon, the prizes are shown.

"First prize is this trophy and a year's supply of chocolate bars!" The announcer says, "You may only use one Pokémon to help you in capturing your Seaking and you must register that Pokemon when you sign up."

"Hey Pikachu, you wanna give it a go," Mew says.

Pikachu agrees.

Molly turns to Misty, "Hey Misty, maybe you can compete in it."

"Maybe we all should," Misty says.

Later, the contestants are registering themselves and their Pokemon to the competition.

"Good luck. Next, please," The receptionists.

Soon, a familiar trainer has his Poliwrath come out of the Pokeball.

The boy says, "My name's Andreas and my partner will be, my Poliwrath."

The other contestants soon overhear.

One fisher says, "Hey, that must be the kid we heard about! He's supposed to be great!"

"I heard he won every single Seaking Catching Competition he was ever in," Another trainer says.

A third trainer says, "Yeah, he was on television! They say there's nobody who can beat him!"

The Poliwrath trainer, Andreas, says, "Well, I guess they must know a winner when they see one." and let out a chuckle.

Misty angrily says, "Oh, yeah? Well, I have some news for that conceited brat! I'm gonna beat him at his own game!"

"I don't know, Misty. Everybody here says this kid's a real winner," Brock says.

"Well, I say he's a loser!" Misty declares, "I've been fishing with my sisters since I was a baby. And my water Pokemon are perfect for this."

Yeah, but…" Brock says.

But Misty says, "No buts about it, Brock! That kid insulted my Poliwhirl! And he's not gonna get away with it." and lets Poliwhirl out.

Misty says to the receptionist, "Sign up this Poliwhirl as my partner, please."

"Alright," The receptionist says.

Mew does the same, "I want Pikachu to be my partner."

"I like to enter Meloetta," Tomo says.

Then Jen says, "I like to entertain Snubbull."

"And I like to enter Pawmo," Molly says.

Brock is next, "And I've decided I want you to be my partner!"

"What?" The Receptionist questions.

Misty grabs Brock by the ear and drags him away, "Nice try, Brock. But I think you missed the boat again."

Soon, all the contestants pick a boat and prepare for the contest to start.

"Are you guys all ready?" Brock asks.

"We're ready!" Mew and the others answer.

And suddenly, they hear a familiar voice, "Well, look who it is."

The group looks to see Andreas pulling up in his boat, "It's red and her little Poli-weak."

"My name isn't red and my Poliwhirl isn't weak just because it's not a bully," Misty angrily says.

As the two Tadpole Pokemon stand, Pyduck comes out of the Pokeball and falls into the water. Luckily he swims back up, thanks to Golduck for teaching him to swim.

"Psyduck," Misty says.

Psyduck turns to Misty, "Psyduck." (Sorry.)"

Andreas simply laughs and says, "I'd love to stick around, but I've got a competition to win." And rides off on his boat with a chuckle.

Misty then picks up Psyduck, "It's okay Psyduck. On the plus side, you did better with swimming thanks to Golduck."

"Psyduck…" (Thank goodness.) Psyduck replies.

Soon, the competitors are all split up over the giant lake.

"We're not gonna let those two bullies beat us!" Misty says.

"We'll show them, won't we?" Mew says.

"Pika! ("No doubt!) Pikachu replies.

Soon, the siren blares and the announcer says, "There's the signal! The Seaking Catching Competition has begun!"

Mew casts her line, "Yeah!"

Misty does the same, "Okay, here we go!" and her lure lands in the water, "This is probably gonna take a while, Poliwhirl."

Suddenly, they hear Andreas' voice, "Aha! I got a bite!"

Misty looks ahead in shock, "Already?!"

Yeah! Okay, Poliwrath, all set?" Andreas says.

Poliwrath agrees as a giant Seaking is reeled in.

Andreas calls out, "Go! Use your Double Slap, Poliwrath!"

And Poliwrath performs the attack.

"Lake Ball, go!" Andreas says, and throws the Pokeball.

The ball hits, pulls in the Seaking, and returns to Andreas' hand as Poliwrath lands in the boat.

"Nice job, Poliwrath!" Andreas says.

Mew is surprised, "He got one."

"Guess he's got a lot of experience," Brock says.

"Togepiiii!" ("He's really good.") Togpei replies.

"Pichu," (Sure is.) Pichu replies.

"He just got lucky," Misty says, frustrated.

Then they hear Andreas say, "Okay, Seaking, go!" and Seaking is released and swims off.

That surprises the group. Brock is the first to say, "He let it go!"

"Yeah, but why?" Mew wonders.

"We capture and release little guys like that just to get warmed up,"Andreas says, and turns to his Pokemon, "Right, Poliwrath?" Poliwrath agrees.

"The next Seaking Poliwrath and I catch will be really big!" Andeas says.

Just like his mouth," Misty says, frustrated.

At a different part of the lake, Team Rocket is fishing as well.

"If we win this here contest, we win all them chocolate bars," Meowth says.

We haven't eaten in so long, at this point, I'd settle for licking the wrappers," James says.

Then Jessie says, "There."

"What's that?" Meowth asks as he and James see what Jessie has tied to her lure.

"What does it look like? It's my Jessie lure. Alluring, isn't it? No Seaking can resist this," Jessie says, fully confident by her lure.

Time has passed, and Jessie hasn't caught a bite.

Meowth yawns, "We've been here for an hour. Maybe that lure is scaring the Seaking off."

Infuriated, Jessie splashes the water with her rod, "These stupid Seaking obviously don't appreciate my beauty!"

James then holds Jessie back, "Whoa! Take it easy, Jessie! Settle down."

"Well, if Seaking aren't attracted to a lure that's beautiful, maybe they'll go for a lure that's ugly!" Jessie says.

And James says, "That's the spirit! Try something yucky!"

"Those Seaking won't be able to resist a Meowth lure!" Jessie says.

Meowth takes an interest in the idea, "Hey! Great idea! I didn't know you had a lure that looks like me! Let me see it!"

But then Jessie puts a breather in Meowth's mouth and ties him to her fishing like with a rock tied to him, meaning he's the lure.

"Presenting our live Meowth lure!," Jessie says, "When you see a Seaking, use a Scratch attack! Go!" and cast Meowth into the waters of the lake.

"We're a cinch to win that trophy!" Jessie happily says.

"Not only the trophy, Jessie, but we'll also win that marvelous mountain of deep, dark, deliriously delicious chocolate!" James says.

"Yeah," Jessie happily says.

Meanwhile, Meowth is swimming.

He says in thought, "I don't like it down here. It's too wet. Besides, I don't see any…" He then spots a Seaking swimming by, "Hey, over here! Don't swim away!" but the Seaking swims away, "Wait! All I wanna do is…"

Suddenly, another fishing line snags Meowth's arm.

It turns out to be Misty's, "Alright!" and Misty pulls Meowth towards her.

At the same time, Jessie's line is tugged as Meowth is being reeled in.

Jessie grows excited, "I got a bite! Meowth came through, James!"

"Your idea worked, Jessie!" James says.

Misty happily says, "It's really fighting back!"

"This could be a winner!" Misty says.

Misty then says, "Yeah! I'm not gonna let it get away!" and pulls in determination.

Jessie does the same, "It must be gigantic!" and pulls with all her might.

James calls out, "Hang on, Jess! Don't lose it!"

Jessie plants both her feet on the side of the boat, "Okay, baby, come to mama!"

Jessie pulls even harder, but under the water, the rock tied to Meowth gets caught between two larger rocks, preventing either fisher from reeling Meowth in.

Meowth says in thought, "Now I know what it feels like to be the catch of the day!

Suddenly, the breathing device in Meowth's mouth comes out. Up on the surface, the force of the reeling is pulling our heroes' boat towards Meowth, same for Team Rocket's boat until both boats crash into each other, shocking the passengers aboard each one when they lay eyes on each other.

Jessie panics in thought, "The twerps! Maybe they won't recognize us." She then straightens up her disguise and loudly says, "Oh, it seems we've gotten our lines crossed, hasn't it?" and sheepishly chuckles.

Meanwhile, underwater, Meowth cuts himself loose with Fury Swipes and heads to the surface as Team Rocket rushes off.

"Sorry!" Jessie and James call out.

Misty reels in her line and finds it broken, "I lost it."

"Maybe it was just some kind of bottom feeder like a catfish," Molly suggests.

Misty saddens, "Yeah."

"Don't worry, you'll hook another one," Brock says.

Soon, Andreas is seen as he calls out, "That was pretty good, red! I think you could take home first prize if you entered a fishing rod catching competition!"

Misty loses her cool.

Meowth surfaces, "I knew that was a bad idea."

A little later, Misty notices a change in the wind, "The wind's changing direction. This is gonna affect where the Seaking swim. I think we better change our position, guys."

They soon speed off in another direction.

"Let's go further north. That's where the Seaking will be," Misty says.

Andreas soon pulls up alongside them before pulling ahead, "Hang on, Poliwrath!"

"If he beats us up there, he's gonna get the best spot and catch the biggest Seaking!" Misty says, and grabs the wheel, "Move over, I'll drive! That bigmouth's not gonna win this thing without a fight, so hold on, guys!"

Soon, the two are now racing.

"Can't you go faster?" Misty says.

Andreas speeds up.

"You want a race? You got one!" Misty says.

Soon, both boats bump into each other.

"Watch where you're going!" Misty shouts.

Andreas shouts back, "Watch where YOU'RE going! You hit me!"

Mew and the others cry out to Misty to stop speeding the boat or bumping the boat before they crash. Both boats soon zoom towards Team Rocket, who quickly notice.

James cries out, "Mayday! Mayday!"

Brock cries out, "Misty, turn the wheel!"

"Misty turns just in time, while Andreas proceeds to leap over Team Rocket and sends them all overboard upon landing while their boat capsizes. Misty and the others soon pull up near them

"I'm so sorry. That kid is reckless," Misty apologizes, "Are you alright?"

Jessie and James, hidden behind their capsized boat, know they have to stay out of sight.

"We can't let them know it's us," Jessie quietly says to James.

Then says aloud, "Uh, no problem. We're just fine!"

"Don't worry! We capsize all the time," James says.

Meowth soon surfaces, "I almost drowned."

"Get back down!" James panics and pushes Meowth under the water.

Later, Misty and the others find a perfect spot to cast off

This looks like a perfect spot for Seaking," Misty says.

Soon, Andreas arrives at the same spot,"Yeah, I figured you'd follow me up here. Maybe if you're quiet, I'll let you have one of my rejects."

Soon, the groups start the process of waiting for a bite.

Soon, Mew notices, "Hey! Got one!"

"Don't lose it, Ash! Reel it in easy." Misty says.

"Got it!" Mew says.

Soon, Mew pulls the rod as she feels her line being tugged. Soon, a big Seaking comes out.

"Wow! It's a big one!" Mew says, amazed.

Then calls out, "Okay, Pikachu, let's shock Seaking with a Thunderbolt!"

Pikachu uses the attack and lands.

Then Mew throws the Lake Ball, "Okay, Lake Ball, go!

The ball hits, Seaking is pulled in, and Mew catches the ball as it comes back to her.

"A picture perfect capture." Misty says.

"That's what I call teamwork!" Brock says.

"Yeah. You did great, Pikachu," Mew says.

And Pikachu says, "Pikachu." (We both did.)

Suddenly, Andreas calls out, "It's a big one!"

Everyone looks sees Andreas struggling with a Seaking

"Okay, Poliwrath! Get ready!" Andreas says.

Finally, the Seaking surfaces.

Andreas calls out, "Go! Use a Mega Punch so I can capture it!"

Poliwrath strikes before taking it under water.

Then Andreas calls out, "Wear it down with your Double Slap!"

Poliwrath uses Double Slap. Followed by another Mega Punch that sends it to the surface and right into the waiting Lake Ball of Andreas.

"Yeah! I think that's the biggest Seaking we've ever caught, Poliwrath! It's a guaranteed winner!" Andreas says and Poliwrath jumps into the boat.

He turns to see Misty and the others.

He calls out, "Haven't you caught anything yet, red?!"

Misty goes, "Humph. Not yet."

Soon, they hear the announcement, "Ten minutes! The competition will end in just ten minutes!"

"If you want a chance at second place, red, you better hurry!" Andreas says and speeds off.

Misty decides that it's time to bring in the big guns, "It's time to use my secret weapon lure!"

"Which lure are you talking about?" Brock asks.

"I know which one she means," Mew answers.

"My Super Misty Lure, version four!" Misty says, and holds her lure.

"I knew it," Mew says.

"It looks a lot like version three," Brock.

Molly is amazed, "Wow. It looks like you."

"That's the idea," Misty says, and casts her lure, "Go!"

And Misty waits. Soon, she gets a bite.

"I've got one!" Misty says

"You can't let this one get away!" Jen says.

"I'm sticking to this one like white on rice!" Misty says.

The line tugs hard.

"It's a big one!" Misty says.

Then the Seaking is pulled in.

Misty calls out, "Let's get it, Poliwhirl!"

Poliwhirl charges in, but the Seaking smacks it away, only for Poliwhirl to leap off the nose of the boat and back into action.

You can do it, Poliwhirl!" Misty calls out.

Poliwhirl uses Double Slap on Seaking.

"Okay! Lake Ball, go!" Misty says and throws her Lake Ball at the Seaking.

The ball hits, reels in the Seaking, and lands back in Misty's hand.

"Yeah!" Misty cheers.

"You got it, Misty!" Molly happily says.

"Looks like a winner!" Brock says.

Misty sighs in relief, "Thanks, Poliwhirl. You were great!"

Soon, the siren blares again, and the announcer says, "The competition is now over! If you failed to catch a Seaking, we have a free commemorative badge for you."

Soon, Team Rocket collects their badges.

"Look, Jess! Isn't it commemorative?" James says, impressed.

But Jessie isn't, "Who cares about you winning some cheap trinket when we could've won the respect of our peers?"

Or chocolate," Meowth says.

And Jessie angrily says, "If those twerps hadn't butted in like they always do, we'd be the winners."

"We oughta get foist prize!" Meowth says.

Meanwhile, the Seaking are being weighed, and it's down to Andreas)"

"And now, last, but certainly not least, is the Seaking captured by Andreas and his Poliwrath!" The announcer says.

The Seaking soon materializes in the tank.

"And let's see what the scale says, here... Fifty-five kilos!" The announcer announces.

Andreas cheers, "Yeah!"

The other trainers reply on how Andreas is going to win.

"I'm number one once more!" Andreas says.

But then Misty calls out, "Wait a second!" and rushes on the stage with Poliwhirl, "This Seaking Poliwhirl and I caught is pretty big, too!"

"Good luck, Misty!" Mew cheer.

The Pokemon cheers as well.

Misty's Seaking comes out of the Pokeball and is measured.

The announcer says, "This Seaking weighs exactly fifty-five kilos, too!"

Everyone is astonished.

"I guess it's a tie," Misty says.

But then Andreas says, "The rules say there can only be one winner, how do we decide who that is?"

"The trainers and their Pokemon partners have to face each other in a winner-take-all Pokemon battle!" The announcer says.

"A Pokémon battle?" Misty questions.

Then Andreas says, "We'll whip these wimps! Won't we, Poliwrath?"

"We are not wimps and you are not gonna whip us!" Misty says and turns to her Pokemon, "Right, Poliwhirl?" but Poliwhirl is nervous.

Soon, the battlefield is all set up at the docks.

The announcer says, "This battle will determine the winner of the competition! The battle is between Andreas and his Poliwrath, and Misty and her Poliwhirl!"

"You think Misty can win it, Brock?" Tomo asks.

"The odds are not in her favor," Brock says.

"You're right. Poliwhirl is strong, but Poliwrath is stronger. It won't be easy for Poliwhirl to beat," Mew says.

The announcer calls out, "Good luck, and let the battle begin!"

"Okay, Poliwhirl, go!" Misty says and calls out Poliwhirl.

Andreas calls out his Pokemon, "Poliwrath, go!"

Misty calls out, "Give it your best shot, Poliwhirl!" and Poliwhirl charges.

Andreas calls out, "Alright, Poliwrath, get in there and win!"

Poliwrath charges in, but Poliwhirl dodges its early attacks. Suddenly, some smoke pellets drop from the sky as Team Rocket descends, catching everyone's attention.

"What's going on here?" The announcer asks, in shock.

Above are Team Rocket as they let out a chuckle and begin the motto.

Jessie:

Don't you worry, things are dandy.

James:

We just want that first prize candy.

Jessie:

To protect the world from devastation.

James:

To unite all people within our nation.

Jessie:

To denounce the evils of truth and love.

James:

To extend our reach to the stars above.

Jessie:

Jessie.

James:

James.

Jessie:

Team Rocket, blast off at the speed of light!

James:

Surrender now, or prepare to fight, fight, fight!

Wobbuffet:

Wobbuffet! (That's so true!)

Meowth: (comes in and kicks Wobbuffet aside)

Meowth, that's right!

"Not them again!" Mew says, angrily.

"It's Team Rocket!" Jen calls out.

Jessie soon casts Meowth down on the fishing line, "Now, scoop up that chocolate!"

Meowth lands and places all the chocolate bars in the bag.

Misty calls out, "Hey! That belongs to the winner of the Seaking Competition!"

Why are you stealing it?!" Andreas demands.

"Because the trophy won't taste good with marshmallows!" Meowth says.

Misty calls out, "Poliwhirl, Water Gun attack!"

Andreas does the same, "Poliwrath, Water Gun attack!"

Both attacks land and hit Meowth hard enough for him to drop the bag of chocolate.

Mew then calls out, "Bulbasaur, I choose you!" and Bulbasaur comes out of the Pokeball.

Mew calls out, "Grab that chocolate with your Vine Whip!"

Bulbasaur uses Vine Whip to catch the chocolate and gently place the bag down.

"That was a pretty sweet move," Mew says.

James shouts, "Hey! They stole our chocolate back!"

"And we swiped it fair and square!" Meowth shouts.

Even Jessie shouts, "We deserve to keep that prize!"

"Wobbuffet!" (Cause we're starving!) Wobbuffet says.

Mew then calls out, "You guys deserve a booby-prize! Give em a blue ribbon Thunderbolt, Pikachu! Eevee, use Swift!"

Both Pokemon fire, land, and blow up the balloon, sending Team Rocket blasting off.

James cries, "No chocolate!"

"No Seaking!" Jessie cries.

"No nuttin!" Meowth says.

Team Rocket cries out, "We're blasting off again!"

Soon, Team Rocket is gone.

And with that, the battle can continue.

Misty then says, "Well, let's get back to business!"

"Right!" Andreas says.

Then the Announcer says, "Resume the battle!"

Andreas calls out, "Poliwrath, use Submission!"

Poliwrath curls up and rolls across the water, picking up speed until it nails Poliwhirl.

"Oh, no!" misty cries out.

"Submission?" Molly questions.

"It's a Fighting attack. When Poliwhirl evolves into Poliwrath it becomes a Water and Fighting Type," Mew says.

"And because of that it can use Fighting Attacks," Brock says.

Poliwrath then uses Mega Punch to knock Poliwhirl back to Misty.

"Poliwhirl, no!" Misty cries out.

"I win!" Andreas cheers.

Misty rushes to Poliwhirl, "Poliwhirl."

Poliwhirl gets up and hides behind Misty.

Misty says to Poliwhirl, "I know that you're trying to do your best, Poliwhirl, I just wish you had more confidence in yourself."

Suddenly, Psyduck materializes from his Pokeball.

"Psyduck?" Misty questions.

Then, Staryu, Oddish, Sobble, and Goldeen, and some of the Pokemon who haven't evolved come out of their Pokeballs.

Then Misty says to Poliwhirl, "You know what? You have to. You have to get back in there and stand up to those two bullies! They made fun of all your friends here for being wimps! They insulted me, too! We might lose, but we have to keep battling and prove that they're wrong!

Poliwhirl is unsure, but then Goldeen and Staryu, Sobble, use Water Gun on Poliwhirl.

Misty continues, ""So what if you're not evolved like Poliwrath? Lots of great Pokemon aren't fully evolved yet, and you're a great Pokémon! You have strengths Poliwrath doesn't have. And if you do the best you can, they can't ever call you a wimp!"

Poliwhirl finally agrees to keep going.

"Alright!" Misty says as Poliwhirl is ready to battle.

Andreas calls out, "It's no use, red! Your Poli-wimp's going down!"

But Misty gives Poliwhirl the first attack, "Poliwhirl, use your Bubble attack!"

Poliwhirl fires the attack and lands.

Then Misty calls out the next attack, "Use a Water Gun attack!"

Poliwhirl uses Water Gun, it lands, and knocks Poliwrath into the water.

"Poliwrath!" Adreas cries out.

Soon, it is revealed that Poliwrath is knocked out.

The announcer soon says, "Misty and Poliwhirl have won the battle and are the competition winners!"

Misty happily cheers, "That was great, Poliwhirl! I knew you weren't a wimp!"

Andreas helps his Poliwrath out of the water, "Well, this is a big surprise." Then turns to see Misty, "Congratulations, red. I shouldn't have called you and your Pokemon wimps. I was wrong. I'm sorry."

"Apology accepted!" Misty says, and gives Poliwhirl a high five.

Later, Mew and the others look at Misty's win.

"You can't eat all this yourself," Mew giggles.

"I'm giving it all away," Misty says.

Then count on what to do with the chocolate, "Twenty bars to my sisters. Fifty bars go to Brock's family, a big box for Professor Oak and Tracy, and a big box will go to Adriana and Daisy. One for Spencer Hale, Twenty five Kate in the Orange Island. Another twenty five go to officer Jenny at the Pokemon Preserve in Kanto. 15 will go to Madame Muchmoney. I'll keep a big box for Togepi, of course. Don't worry, I won't forget you and the others."

Today, our heroes have learned an important lesson. Victory is sweet, especially when chocolate's the first prize. Most of all, Poliwhirl also learns to believe in itself, and it will be strong despite evolving or not.
