Although it had been attacked, Mewtwo's body remained clean, without a single speck of dirt.

Looking at Mew, its eyes burned with a fierce fighting spirit.

"Your strength is impressive. You truly deserve my full attention!"

Glancing at the others, Mewtwo activated its psychic abilities again. As the platform rose, more than a dozen clone Pokémon with distinctive stripes were brought forth.

"You humans created us to make us stronger, but you never anticipated the day we'd rise against you, did you? Now, clones, let these humans and their Pokémon feel the anger of lives that were toyed with!"

At Mewtwo's command, the cloned Pokémon charged forward. Ash and the others, initially unwilling to fight, were forced to defend themselves and could only command their Pokémon to battle.

A chaotic scuffle broke out!

Kai also released his Pokémon to join the fray against the clones. However, after a few exchanges, Kai realized that the clones were far stronger than their original counterparts.

Despite their smaller numbers, each clone could hold its own against two Pokémon raised with care and training.

"ROAAARRRRR!!!

"AAARRRRRROOOO!!!"

"TYRAAAANNHHH!!!"

Amid flames, torrents of water, and surging electricity, roars and cries of Pokémon filled the air as the battle spread throughout the castle.

Over time, as everyone's strength waned, the battle reached a stalemate.

Mewtwo, growing tired of Mew's agile movements and the prolonged struggle, decided to end it decisively.

"Now handle this!"

Gathering all its remaining strength, Mewtwo prepared to unleash a final, devastating attack against Mew.

Seeing this, Mew responded in kind, forming its own massive energy ball.

The two energy spheres, one blue and one pink, grew larger and brighter before launching toward each other.

But at that moment, something unexpected happened.

Ash, unable to bear the sight of Pokémon battling to the death, ran between the two attacks, spreading his arms to stop the fight.

"Stop! Don't fight anymore!"

However, the energy balls had already been unleashed, and it was too late to intervene.

In a flash, the two massive energy attacks collided right where Ash stood.

Boom!

A blinding light erupted, and Ash, without a sound, collapsed to the ground, his body turned into a lifeless stone statue.

The sudden development stunned everyone. They could only watch in shock as Ash fell.

"Ash!"

Kai rushed to Ash's side and gently shook him. Seeing no response, he checked for a pulse or breathing but found neither.

'Will the plot armour work in this timeline also?' Kai thought while looking at Ash.

Mewtwo, looking down at Ash coldly, said in a deep voice, "Foolish. Did you think you could stop our battle? How naive."

"Pika... Pikaaa!"

Pikachu, seeing Ash unmoving, grew frantic. In desperation, it unleashed electric shocks over and over again on Ash's body, trying to undo the petrification.

Crackle!

Kai was forced to step back by the intensity of Pikachu's electricity. Sparks illuminated the room as Pikachu cried out in despair, drawing everyone's attention.

Humans, Pokémon, Mewtwo, and the clones all stopped fighting, silently watching the scene unfold.

Exhausted, Pikachu collapsed onto Ash's body, tears streaming down its face.

The heartfelt scene deeply moved the surrounding Pokémon. Realizing that someone had given their life to stop the senseless fighting, many began to shed tears.

Then, something miraculous happened. The tears of the Pokémon shimmered with a magical light, lifting into the air like glowing stars.

They floated upwards, converging above Ash before descending into his body.

Simultaneously, the violent storm around New Island ceased, and a radiant white light shone down on Ash.

The miraculous power revived Ash, freeing him from his petrified state.

Everyone watched in awe as Ash opened his eyes and sat up, alive once more.

'It does work' Kai looked to the sky and smiled.

High above, a majestic Pokémon with radiant, rainbow-coloured wings soared away.

"Ho-Oh...?"

According to legend, Ho-Oh has the power to revive the dead. It must have appeared just in time to save Ash.

But aside from Kai, no one seemed to notice the legendary Pokémon's presence.

"Why would Ho-Oh come here?" Kai wondered. "Was it drawn by Mewtwo's power, or is there truth to the rumour that Ho-Oh watches over Ash?"

Regardless, Ash's revival brought immense relief. The surrounding Pokémon cheered joyously, and Mewtwo found itself deeply moved by Ash's selfless actions.

Floating silently, Mewtwo wrestled with its thoughts.

Sensing an opportunity, Kai stepped forward and spoke. "Mewtwo, no matter the outcome, this battle proves nothing. Whether natural-born or cloned, all life has the right to live freely. Existence itself is reason enough. There's no need to determine who is superior."

Mewtwo was silent for a moment before replying. "You have a point. Strength or weakness it's meaningless in the face of life itself."

Turning to Mew, Mewtwo continued, "Whether natural-born or created, we are all Pokémon. We each have our own lives, and no one has the right to impose their will on others. Perhaps this battle, this farce, should be forgotten."

Mew nodded in agreement. Together, the two Pokémon used their powers to summon gentle blue particles of light, which spread across the island, erasing the memories of the event from everyone except Kai.

As the light avoided him, Kai saw Mewtwo descend and address him directly.

"There's something I must ask you," Mewtwo said. "From your memories, I can see that you've foreseen many things. I want to know... why?"
