The Village Disciples

Nozomu can be seen walking through a bodega, buying necessities such as food, drinks, alcohol, etc. When Nozomu was nearing the checkout center, he heard some random woman with scarlet hair speak to her friend, who was also waiting in the checkout line.

"Hey, have you heard the recent news of a group of warriors banding together and wiping out small villages?" The scarlet-haired woman said,

"No, I haven't. How close were the assaulted villages?" Another woman with honey blonde hair in line had questioned.

"The most recent village discovered was just 100 miles away!" informed the scarlet-haired woman.

Nozomu was only tuning out their voices, simply waiting to check out his groceries and head home. When the line finally moved forward, Nozomu jerked to a halt when he heard the name 'Furusato'. He turned to look at the two women, who were still conversing. With growing interest, he forced himself into the discussion.

"Did you just say Furusato?" Nozomu queried the women in line.

The two women turned to look at Nozomu, confused about who he is. Once Nozomu noticed the confusion, he 'clarified' his reason for intruding."Oh, sorry. It's just that I had family that lived in Furusato."

The two women lost their confused looks, and then the scarlet-haired woman responded, "Ah, okay. But I said that the recent assaults on nearby villages were caused by assailants who were reported to be wearing clothing that said 'Furusato' on them."

Just as Nozomu was about to say something, the line the two women were in moved up, allowing them to complete their purchases. Once done, they turned back to the Nozomu and apologized, "Sorry, but we don't want our drinks to get warm. Have a nice day!"

Nozomu only stood there, mainly caught up in his own thoughts. Then being broken out of it when the cashier said,

"Sir? The line moved up. Can you stop stalling?"

WITH TANJO

Tanjo, Akogare, and Naderamu can be seen standing at the entrance of the academy. Talking to one another, well. More specifically, annoying Tanjo with a barrage of questions.

"For the last time, I don't know!" Exclaimed a frustrated Tanjo,

"How do you not know? No one normal can shoot off a blast THAT big on their first attempt." Stated Naderamu, adorning a questioning look on her face.

"Yeah, that was massive!" Shouted Akogare, before getting slapped by Naderamu for basically repeating what she said.

"Look, I seriously don't know. I can't answer any of your questions if I myself am confused about it as well!" confessed Tanjo.

Naderamu seemed like she was about to speak, but then stayed quiet. Akogare, on the other hand, seemed like he was about to pop with curiosity revolving around Tanjo's magic; he simply thought it was awesome.

Naderamu was mainly curious about why he didn't use magic in his fight against Utsukushi until the end, but managed to blast the strongest beam of magic out of the whole class. Something wasn't adding up in her mind.

All Tanjo can think of doing is asking Nozomu what to do about it. Not being able to control his magic can lead to problems, like exposing his condition, causing collateral damage, and so forth. Also, he doesn't want to potentially be hunted down for having an uncommon ability.

"Alright, well I'm going to head home. See you tomorrow," announced Naderamu. Just as she was about to leave, Akogare shouted.

"AFTER TOMORROW, IT'S FRIDAY. WE SHOULD DO SOMETHING!" The second Akogare stopped shouting, he received a slap. Due to Naderamu only walking 2 feet away and gaining the attention of other students leaving the school.

SOMEWHERE 135 MILES AWAY FROM BURAUN

Two men can be seen standing on a hill, near a small village. Both have dark green hair, black cloaks with red lines going down the sleeves, and the name 'Furusato' imprinted on the back. Also going by the names 'Itami' and 'Doryoku', both of the men stare at each other. Then nod in agreement to something, and rush towards the village.

As both of the men are rushing into the village, Doryoku's ring begins to glow. Shortly after, a blast is sent out, directed at the wall surrounding the village. Once the blast makes contact with the wall. A large hole is present.

Itami and Doryoku rush through the opening, alerting nearby village guards of their presence. Itami's staff started to glow, then was aimed at two guards who were standing side by side. Roots then shot out and tangled the guards, then squeezed them unconscious.

Local warriors began rushing to the fight, only to be blasted away by Doryoku or caught by Itami's roots.

In the midst of the fight, cannons are shot out of the surrounding village walls. All aimed at the green-haired invaders, Itami quickly tried to block the cannonballs by making walls of standing roots, only for them to be obliterated just as they were about to be hit. Fireballs struck right back, stopping the incoming cannonballs.

When the smoke has cleared that was caused by the fireball collisions, Imawashiki can be seen. His hands extended forward, steam emitting from his arms. He then raised his arms above his head, and a huge fireball can be seen taking shape, then being launched at the buildings in the village.

"The village of Asahi is no more." Imawashiki simply stated, then began to hear a loud boom,

*BOOM*

Every surrounding building was caught up in the explosion. The three invaders can be seen disappearing into the flames, transporting them away. Courtesy of Imawashiki.

In a now-destroyed village, a warrior with scraped armor can be seen crawling out of debris, then looking all around.

"I need to leave!" exclaimed the warrior, then started to run to the edge of the village. Just as he was about to leave the village, a root impaled him through the chest. The sound of footsteps is now present.

"Sorry, but we can't let any more people escape and rat on us."
